I bought a Spirograph!

Well, not >>quite<< but it's the closest I've seen in a while. I used to love my >old one< back in the Seventies.


I used to have one of those when I was a kid. I think my parents bought it at a garage sale or something. I thought it was really cool for about a week. I like the repetetive intricate interlaced pattern idea, but I always wanted to take it outside the lines. :)


It's a cool tool for drawing. It's boring by itself, but you can use the patterns as part of a greater whole.


Have you noticed a direct correlation between the decline of Spirograph and the rise in youth violence?! Think about it!

My older sister never let me use the set my family had, she also never let me use the etcha-sketch I got for christmas or the play dough or anything else she decided she wanted.
