Turn undead based on Wis rather than Cha?

3.5/d20/OGL

Is there a feat or magic item that lets a cleric use his Wisdom modifier for his turn undead ability rather than his Charisma modifier? I have a low-charisma dwarven cleric who's now regretting that choice, but doesn't want to give up the roleplaying enjoyment it's generated!

why not just take some divine feats and channel those turn undeads into useful metamagic effects or some such.

Callum, let me translate lastknight's comment for you:

"No"

Well, that's precisely the problem - those feats are restricted by the number of turn attempts you get per day!

No. You'd need to take "Extra Chanel Energy" to get the numerical boost.

There's an optional rule in the Quintessential Cleric II that lets clerics use Wisdom for turning undead. It's limited to clerics of specific faiths (e.g. followers of the god of Death).

right but you get 3+ cha bonus turns, not 3+ cha mod, which means that the bear minimum you get is 3 turn attempts. That's enough to set most divine feats at least once. if you take divine metamagic there's actually a wealth of 1 level metamagic effects you could apply and then you have 3 instant metamagic spells a day.
