Abney Park play london...Should i go?

Okay, the Ophelia has moored it self to The tower of houses of parliment(they are in for a rude awakening when big ben sounds) and abney park have made it to this fair island. Now my initial instinct is to dig out my Ray gun and pull on a waist coat, but money is tight and i have had disappointments seeing bands live before.

Has anyone seen Abney park live? Are they good live? Will I be surrounded by many cumly wenchs in the fashions of a time that never was if i attend? Are air pirate raids(by other crews that is) a danger at their events....what should i do?

Absolutely! I love Abney Park! I hope you get to go. Yes, lots of people do dress for their events (though I've only seen them in club settings)--so grab your Vicky and bustier, don a pair of buckled boots, and a set of optometrist PDM specs; a Flash Gordon pistol would go well, too!

This is the first I've heard of this band, but... I'm interested in this.

From the videos on the Abney Park website, the music kinda reminds me of Emilie Autumn... with a little Golgol Bordello thrown in?

Regardless, from what I saw on those videos, I would go see them if/when they ever play Seattle.
