I am in a situation where I am concerned about my current groups ability to finish this AP before we go out seperate ways. My question for you guys is where would you trim the Rune Lord fat? It all looks great and I hate to lose any of it, but where could it stand to be a little leaner? I don't mind adjusting threat levels and opposition strength if the characters do not make levels quick enough to keep up with the adventures as printed. I have plenty of time to work on the adventures and adjustments, it is our together gaming time that I am concerned with.
What elements, encounters and such would you term as other than absolutely essential for the overall story arc?
Thanks
Tam

I think the material which is the easiest do drop is PF# 5 . While it's a great dungeon with quite some memorable encounters it doesn't seem to be too connected with the rest of the AP and isn't absolutely necessary story-wise (xp is another thing). You basically can let your PC learn all they need in the library in PF #4 and from there send them directly into the events of PF #6.

Where are you right now?
If you haven't started yet, you could conceivably start with higher-level characters and skip the first couple of adventures entirely - they're not too connected to the rest (at least not obviously - the GM will know the difference) and are more a Grand Introduction To Golarion (especially Varisia).
