We have recently received agreement from a FLGS to run a Pathfinder Society Game Day on March 29, 2009, from 1 pm to 5 pm. The location is at Asgard Games, 5016 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098. If you go to the Pathfinder Society Events page the Goggle map is wrong. The store is located on Kirby just south of Hwy 59 between the highway and Bissonnet. If you are traveling south on Kirby Dr the store will be on your right hand side. The stores website address is here.
The scenarios that are planned are #13: The Prince of Augustana and #14: The Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch. Please show up at least 30-45 minutes early if you need to generate a character. There will be no pregens available. Let us show this new store how the Paizo community can support a FLGS. BTW there are numerous eating establishments at hand, such as McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Goode Bar-B-Q, and a Subway down the street.
Hope to see you there. Just my 2 cp.

We are still on track for the Pathfinder Society Game Day on March 29, 2009 at Asgard Games in Houston, TX. Just one slight problem, it appears that few on these boards are interested. I hope that changes as we get closer to time for the game.
Hello, Earth to Paizo supporters in Houston? Houston we have a problem.

Sorry but the table and announcements have already gone out for the 29th. We are scheduling another in April on the 26th. We purposely schedule them on Sunday as that is the most convenient time for most people to be able to get away without taking days off of work or school. We are there every Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm for our regular game so you are welcome to drop in anytime.

First, do you have your Pathfinder Society Number? If so, then just create a 1st level PC using the Guide for Organized Play rules. Then, you might let Asgard Games know you are interested and they will insure you are listed as participating. I will know it too. As it stands right now, the planned scenarios are either #13 or # 14. I do not know which Derek will choose. You are welcome to stop by the store on Sunday and check us out. BTW, I am not affiliated with the store in any capacity. Just an interested party.

This isn't a one shot deal, we're going to do once a month at Asgard, and when my personal situation returns to normal, we'll run games a couple times a month between three different stores, one westside (midnight comics), central (asgard), and one south (Pearland, but I don't remember the name of the store atm).

This Saturday, March 28th, I will be at Asgard Games for a couple of hours at least. Probably from around Noon til about 3 or 4 pm in case anyone wants to stop by and register their PC's for the Pathfinder Society Game Day on Sunday, March 29th. I will have the 3.5 PHB and the Guide to Organized Play with me and some Society Character Sheets. Stop by and say Hello.

The first Pathfinder Society Game Day at Asgard Games was a fun day. We had 4 people show up and we played through PFS #12 Stay of Execution. It ended with a TPK but fun was had by all. There will be another Game Day on April 26, 2009. The scenario is to be determined later. I hope to see you there.

The last time we had enough players to play a scenario ended in a TPK, but this time we had 6 players and it truly made a difference. They all survived although one of the clerics and the fighter were knocked down into the negatives by the gorilla in the final encounter. Apparently the more players/PC's in the party the better their chances of surviving.

For mists it all depends on who makes the initial saves.... when we played it, our fighter failed and dropped the ranger (Me) to 0 on the first round with them template. So I needed to stand back and shoot from afar more than normal after takeing a healing potion (did I mention it was 2 1st level bards, a warrior a ranger and a wizard.... no real healing)
