Quick question concerning the guards and wards spell. I am running my pc's through a fortress where the secret doors are hidden by said spell. Does an elf get the search check when within 5' of the secret door affected by the spell?
I would say only if said Elf made his Will save to disbelieve the Lost Doors aspect of the spell.
