I feel your pain.

What I do for most of my posts is to type it up in another text editor or word document and then copy/paste it into the blank. It helps more things that just posts being eaten.

ctrl+a then copy is how i back mine up

Yeah, I just "right click, copy" my text before I hit "Submit Post".
You can guarantee though that the one time I forget to copy is the time it will eat my post!

That's prett much how it works for me. the odd time i forget is always the longer posts. it's kinda annoying.
