so is there a thred on drawin city scapes and/or maps.....lol
if some one wants to try, what i need is a frontal view and an above view looking down onto the city described blow in the spoiler. also would like a view as if looking at the volcano's from a ship in the magma sea or the very edge of the bridge mentioned in the spoiler
theres a large rock that seems to be floating just above a never ending sea of magma. A large arching bridge, 4 miles long, 1-mile across, leads to one of the smaller volcanic mountains from that rock with an archway large enough for a colasal sized man to walk threw with ease. Located on a carved ledge, an immense wrought-iron wall and a large aqueduct are all that can be seen from the party’s viewpoint on the outer ledge of the bridge. Two colossal doors are the only way into the city other than flying. Behind the wall is a large city with a colossal castle carved directly into the face of the volcano. The city is divided into nine sections by large iron walls with archways and an immense smithy in the center churning out all mater of weapons and armor. Every building and roadway within the city is made from iron.
the two large iron doors stand open, no guards along the walls or at the doors. What appear to be flying ships,(war barges), created by some colossal race and capable of holding thousands of creatures the size of their creators, stand docked at numerous gigantic ledges or outcrops and massive armies gathered on the ledges are preparing to load onto these ships.
In the distance, floating above the sea of magma, a great circle is being built, big enough to allow one of the massive ships to travel threw.

Ok, I put up a quick sketch of the hobgoblin character to see if I could get a pose down. This is not the finished product, but I'd like KC to comment on the pose itself or the outfit to see what he'd like different. Please. Whenever you have time.

That looks about right, actually. I mean, he doesn't have ANY melee weapon, so acid is kinda his best bet. I like the addition of those buttons on his coat, is really makes me think 'hobgoblin' for some reason. Nice job, and keep up the good work!

And the next two is for my own CoT campaign that is about to start in 3-2-1....
First the Fighter Travis
Next up, the cleric Drake Ravenscroft
A draconic sorcerer coming up at some point in the future and a ranger errr inquisitor (when they come up for testing ;-)

Cool!
I like the fact that the fighter looks really badass without the huge spiky armor or massive weapon

Exactly! It's like the saying 'empty cans rattle the most' or some such... If you need to go all spikey and scary looking, well, you've sort of played all your cards right away, right?
I like your artwork, are your doing anymore. I have a half-orc mage in ebberon I would like drawn but I have NO talent whatsoever as far as art goes. If you can find the time I would appreciate it. If you know of another artist that shares your style I will be glad to talk with them as well. either way thanks for your time.

I've never described a character for artistic interpretation before so if you need greater detail let me know.
He stands 7ft tall he's built tough as nails with an 18con and an 18 strength. Clumsy as all heck with a 9 dex and even with the half orc penalty's hes got a 14 charisma and an 18 int and 9 wis if that matters. He's a wizard His favorite weapons is his two handed Great axe but when he's fighting skeletons or stuff like that he uses the standard wizards club(two handed of course) He carries around a dagger or two but never throws them. The heroics spell is great for getting rid of penalties so are weapon crystals.
He has a full head of black hair unlike most half orcs and he has deep grey eyes. The tusks are very pronounced and are a source of pride for him. He has no battle scares on his face or hands.
He dresses very well when not in the field, a courtiers outfit is the minimum for casual lounging as far as he's concerned. He's not a fop or a dandy by any means but when your part of the 12 houses and especially someone with a dragonmark (finding) AND favored in house then your expected to be above presentable at all times. The Least dragonmark of finding can be found in the ebberon main book and it's located on his chest above his heart.
His name is Davigor D'Tharashk. He's of Clann Torn.
When he's out in the field searching for dragonshards or looking for a morgrave party that disappeared without a trace he wears his standard shirt(grey or drk green) black thick cloth breeches black thick leather boots and his twilight mithral chain shirt(cantripped black)he carries his stuff in his framed backpack and in his hands. He has a set of goggles to reduce his sunlight penalty( I took the orc flaw of sunlight to get a free feat at first level) He has no familiar as he gave up that class ability for more skill points(house rule)
Other than that please let me know what other information you need and I'll provide it asap. Thanks for doing this. Steve

Working on a race for submission to Wayfarer #2 and I'd like some art to go with it. The race is called the svartalfar. They are fey from the Plane of Shadows. Generally they are human looking, but their skin is pale white and they have light colored hair ranging from dark blonde all the way to bone white. For the illistration I'd like it at the darker end of the range for some contrast. Their ears are pointed, like elves, and they have a darkly seductive apperance to them. They have tribal tattoos, similar to Maori, on the arms and chest. The most alien thing about them are their eyes, which are solid black. They tend to dress in dark colors, which accent their pale color. Both men and women wear knee length breeches and black leather shoes. Women wear a black leather halter top or something similar to a sports bra. Men wear nothing above the waist. Warriors carry a spiked chain.

Similar idea. However, the idea is to create a race that is avalible for use with PFRPG. A race of Zon-Kuthon worshipping fey that can serve his ends in the Material World. If you check out the development thread in the Homebrew fourm, you will see that as we have been developing the concept they are quickly moving away from the Shadar-Kai in feel.

Looks like they are only slightly similar. They don't seem to strive for pain, and they aren't cursed.

Even though this isn't even a fantasy-character there is no chance of good luck if I don't have a go.
Maxwell "Jungle Max" Thompson.
A pulp-hero from the 1930ies. A huge, simple mans man with an equally huge elephant-hunting rifle. Always in the company of his capuchin monkey Churchill. Max is a borderline anti-hero with a penchant for the direct approach for problem solving. More at easy in the company of rude, violent and drunk dockworkers than really civilized people.
Will be more than glad to offer a more precise physical description of him if anyone show an interest in him.

They aren't cursed, but as servents of Zon-Kuthon they do strive to inflict pain. They just prefer emotional pain.

Wayfarer? Is that a knock off of Wayfinder?... :P

I enjoy new and variant races, particularly if they're written to tie in thematically with the campaign setting, as the svartalfar are.
One of the art-styles that seems to be a running-theme in Pathfinder are characters or monsters presented in a line-up standing against height markers (PCs in their underwear, the first page of each Adventure Path's Bestiary appendix etc).
It might be fun for Wayfinder to play on this style, presenting new races and monsters in a criminal line-up (PCs in their underwear, of course!) against a backdrop of height markers, but also holding a mugshot board identifying the (Golarion) police dept with a suspect serial number, with various looks on their faces, eg: just stumbled out of a nightclub dishevelment; too tired and weary after an all-night interrogation to resist; defiant "this charge will never stick" sneer; incredulous "but I'm innocent!" plea in their eyes; you get the idea.

vikking |

I have a few more if anyone is interested in drawing up a few nice pics.
there kind of simple creatures already known, well most of them anyway....:)
1) I need a horned devil with an eye patch and a scare.
2) a lich with bat like wings and gems for eyes.
3&4) a female bard with random spikes growing from her body and 2 long spikes from the elbows and a male fighter the same way.
5) i need a Ulitharid mind flayer,
6) a creature i created called a
Ecology
Minourion society is similar to the society of vikings found on the Prime Matierial Plane. Small clans or prides control areas of land and constantly wage war with one another to increase there pride’s hunting grounds. The more land a pride controls and defends, the larger the clan can become. A clans size can very from as small as 6 members up to 200. Both the males and females share equal levels within there society and its not uncommon to see a pride queen instead of a king. Minourion’s do not wed but take several mates and breed twice a year giving birth to a litter of up to four offspring in a season. Pride rulers in Minourion society are chosen by deeds, those that have created a great name for themselves and have proven their worth in hunts or war are held in high regard.
7) A frost giant jarl with a crowned helmet.
8) a balor demon paragon with a mace that has a crystal shard worked into the shaft.
any takers?
i know its a lot but i suck at drawing and im designing an epic level adventure path and would really like pics of most of the main villians.
oh and if someone is feeling really creative, the main villian is a collasal demon that looks almost dragon like and wields a great sword.
any one of these would help....thanks in advance if anyone takes 1 or more.

after seeing more of your art and having afe of my characters done by you, i am tempted to ask for your version of Natalia Crow (yes i am that mad with different version :P)

Lyingbastard |

I'd like to see someone's version of one of my main characters:
Kain Longinus, Paladin of the Order of the Holy Blade. Kain is 37 years old and has been a Paladin since earning his spurs at 16. He has faced great evils time and again, and vanquished them, even once facing a Pit Fiend in single combat. Kain is just shy of a hand over six feet tall and well-muscled as well. He has shoulder-length straight black hair turning white at the temples, with a prominent widow's peak. When Kain is not in full plate armor, he wears the garb of his order: a monk's robe with the symbol of the Order of the Holy Blade (a heptagram of swords) emblazoned on the chest, chainmail sleeves, and a sword belted at his waist. Kain is considered to be quite handsome, but also rather austere. He is not unfair, arrogant, or cruel, but rather lives to a very high moral standard and seems disappointed that others do not. He has forsworn inherited wealth and title and is a dedicated Crusader against evil, be it monstrous or mankind in origin.

Gworeth, I just saw the picture and I cant tell you how pleased I am. I can honestly say that while my "vision" and your rendering arn't totally alike I have adjusted my vision to match your art.
I love the detail you put into the axe. I didnt stipulate hair length so that was my own fault but the face, the clothes everything else was so on spot it was just as I had imagined him to look.I appreciate the artistic license you took with the burning hands spell and want to convey my appreciation for your talent and the fact that you took the time while on vacation to do it. Thank you again. Steve

People, would you help me with a hallowen poll?. You can scroll down a bit and find it.
already replied your poll
its absurd you ask.. you should count me twice for Merisiel :P
Taviri Ambria |

I voted on the poll, what I am requesting is a bit awkward so bear with me.
I need a drawing of this character. The idea is he is a Zon-Kuthon worshiping cleric who tries to fit into normal society. Forced to act normal under most circumstances, he enjoys dealing out pain in a sadistic manner. While unable to take part in the normal scarification, he does tattoos to remind himself of who he serves. These tattoos serve as a reminder that he is a servant of the Prince of Shadows, and that he must ultimately serve his deity's interests, especially if he hopes to accomplish his goals.
He dresses in boots long pants, a long sleeved shirt with a leather vest. A pair of glasses sits upon the bridge of his nose, which he is constantly pushing up. Hanging from his hip is a pair of Bola that he uses in chasing down his prey, in order to bring them in for a proper sacrifice to his Lord. On his back is a mithral shield, and he wears a breastplate at times. (For the purposes of the picture he can have the breastplate on or off, depends on how much detail you wish to go into.)
This makes him look normal, except for the tendrils of tattoos that he has peek out from his neck and arms. These tattoos form an intricate web across his torso and arms, arcing to his back and shoulders as well.
When adventuring he takes to wearing a long coat of sorts, and a wide brimmed hat that carefully keeps his blond hair out of his eyes. His holy symbol is kept as the ready by hanging from a chain about his neck. The blond hair is kept brutally short as a practicality, not seeking to look vain. His eyes are a piercing blue that look about with a judgmental gaze.

Thank you guys for all the support on this one year of drawing Pathfinder requests...
Hey man, at least you are getting in practice. Its merely by your patience and grace that these characters get drawn. If no one else will say it, thanks for taking time out to do this. Hopefully we can look forward to more renditions of our characters who GM's maul, destroy, and deface.
