Just received a reply. He's off doing life, but he'll be check back in soon.
He told me that if I run into Sebastian before he makes it back, I should tell him that Trey's been cowering under an overturned rowboat on a beach in the South Carolina Lowcountry since he was put on Seb's "list." He thought that might make his day.
I'll leave out some Owl Biscuits for him.

Hey, did you guys know that when you work a daytime office job instead of a late-night shift, you have to pretend to be serious and like you give a damn and everything?

I got a new job back in July, but they went easy on me for a few months. :-)
I had some family stuff to take care of, too. Nothing bad, just some obligations. Oh yeah, plus home repairs.
I think the main thing was that I am the newest person in my department, and basically in a nonessential role, so when the economy started deflating, I thought it might be a good idea to try and make myself as useful as possible.
This is the first time in a long while where if I got cut from a job, my employer would not feel any sort of immediate, obvious loss of income or services. Can't say it's a place I like to be.
Anyway, it seems like things are cool for now, so I count myself among the lucky ones at the moment.
