I'm basing these suggestions on the assumptions you'll want stuff that you can get a hold of fast (these are all on iTunes) and can be played at any volume level.

Kronos Quartet: Dracula- nicely creepy but not too intrusive.
A History of Horror- a very broad range of Horror themes, from Nosferatu to The Ninth Gate. Covers all the classics.
Anything by Nox Arcana is also pretty handy.
