I picked up the 4e D&D Starter Set at my FLGS this afternoon, flipped over the box to read the contents...and saw a new d20 logo on the back!
I didn't know they'd keep using that trademark, especially since the books with the 3.5 version of the d20 logo aren't at all compatible...but, there you go.
I think that's neat.

What does the new logo look like?
Hey, how is the starter set? Please write a review if you get a chance.

well, it's still a d20 game :D
Maybe WotC will do a separate licensing for 4e materials published under the "d20" label, as opposed to under the gsl, kinda like they did with "d20"/"ogl" in 3e. that may allow some 3pp types to jump aboard without having to deal with the gsl restrictions...
(i have no idea if any of the above is feasable or accurate, just kinda musing aloud...)
i'm kinda enjoying the impending expiration of the 3x "d20" license, lots of stuff around going for firesale prices.
