Has anyone made up effects and price for pesh yet? Or is this covered in a product which I do not have?

I suspect the rules and prices for pesh and pesh addiction will appear in "Dark Markets: A Guide To Katapesh" which is coming out early next year.

I haven't had to do so, but given the region it's from and the terminology used to describe it, my initial impression is that it is comparable to hashish.

I'm not an expert in these matters, so I'm not sure how addictive hashish is. The impression I got was that pesh functions more like an opium derivative.

I also envisioned it as something like marihuana. I tried to find a substitute for it in Book of Vile Darkness, also taking into consideration the cost. The cheapest drug in BoVD is 6 gp, which is really expensive for the downtrodde of Falcon's Hollow. I'll try to come up with something cheap that impairs one mind. Maybe something which gives a penalty to dex and initiative.

Check out shiver from Guide to Korvosa/Curse of the Crimson Throne. That might work.

According to the PFCS description on page 217, it strikes me as a cross between Opium and Cocaine. It's a euphoric psychedelic stimulant that is snorted.

Correct. Pesh is very much an opium analogue.
