Some interesting stuff from Alea Publishing, their Feudal Lords & 4ny 3dition gamelines

4th Edition

Scarab Sages

Came across these a few weeks ago, don't know if they'll interest...

Alea Publishing

Medieval Bestiary: Anthropophagi

Feudal Characters: Noble

Medieval Landscapes: Peasant House

Not sure when their Feudal Lord setting is out but I think it'll be worth a look.

The Noble multi-class looks interesting, though I'd be concerned that the class might not 'play well with others' on a meta game level. No group of players wants to essentially be following one particular players story. Hence the danger is that the Noble player essentially drags the rest of the party along on adventures that are really just the nobles story and not the rest of the players.

What's the difference from a player choosing "noble" as a background?

Like any group your players have to work well together or whatever background/class/multi-class/PP/PrC they choose has the potential to create a negative dynamic.

But I digress, what did you think of the balance of the class? On first glance I was rather impressed, it appears to stack up well against the existing stuff without overshadowing anything.

Definitely a choice rather than a must have.

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for the interest in our teeny, tiny part of the web. I will be happy to answer any questions about our products or product lines.

I will say, we are hard at work with the Feudal Lords Player's Guide (working title) and it should be available in .pdf format around December/January.

However, until then, we do have FL adventures scheduled as well as other supplements - all work well with existing homebrewed and other 4th edition campaign settings.
