Inspired by this thread I am curious who you would cast to play you in the movie of your life story? If I was going for the ideal me it woul be Patrick Warburton, but if I was being honest I would have to go with Kevin Farley. Either way, my wife would be played by Debra Messing.

I'd let my old friend Billy Wirth play me. He's not a perfect fit, but it would give us a chance to reconnect.
To play the younger me? Is Odin available?

I've been told that I resemble Vin Diesel. Kinda cool, considering he's known for playing D&D. Physically speaking, we're a close match. That is, we're both bald ;), definitely people of color, and of ambiguous ethnicity.
The big difference: I'm no action star . . . you know, all aggressive ;). As an actor, I'm sure Diesel could pull off a milder role.
I was just thinking who would be cast as my wife. Meryl Streep, at least in her younger years. Based mostly on physcial resemblance if not much else.
Can't imagine Diesel and Streep every starring together, so I guess my life story will never be told in movies ;) Shucks! :)

"We got the one who looked like Twisted Sister! Totally annhilated his night-stockinged @$$!"
I saw that movie like five times *in the theaters.* There are movies I own on tape/DVD I haven't seen as many times as I paid to see that one... :)

That was a great movie. The grandpa was my favorite character. Have you seen Lost Boys 2? I am wondering if it is worth watching.

The resemblance is frightening.

As Jayne Mansfeld is dead, I have to go with John Travolta.
What, people who actually look like me? Now that would be boring.
Anyway, the director will be John Waters. Or Pedro Almodovar.
John Waters gave the closing speech at the Global Entertainment and Media Summit I attended back in 2002. Although not big on his films, the man was hilarious. It was forty minutes of nonstop anecdotes that had everyone in tears.
I wore a VIP badge on that weekend, and everyone and their mother sidled up to me to try flaunt their talent. It was terrifying. I kept explaining, "I'm nobody. I can't help your career. I got this badge because I know people. That is all."
"Really? Who do you know?"

Ever seen Kirby Dick's "This Film is Not Yet R-ated"?

I have no idea who I would choose as far as appearance is concerned but, personality-wise? Totally Seth Rogen. I don't know who to get to play my wife. She's a tough one to emulate. :)

Kirth Gersen |

John Cusack. He's roughly my age and build anyway, and he can fight, too. Just have to work on his walk a bit, get him to practice what my students used to call the "pimp strut." And as an added bonus, Joan Cusack and Jeremy Pivens would be sure to be in the movie that way... have to figure out who they'd play.

I haven't, but I just went and looked it up on IMDB. Looks good. What made you think of it?

In the movie, they interview John Waters about every ten seconds. That dude's funny, man.
