Today, my car (not even two years old), a Ford Fiesta 1,25 Coupé, got wrecked by a trailer.
Luckily, although I was in the car at the time of accident, I did not get hurt, and could drive it to a workshop.
The driver of the truck, that lost the trailer, stopped and has an insurance that will cover the repair of the damage.
The police was present, but did not much but to help us sort out what to do next.
So, what's your story of the day?
I am glad you were not injured. Things can be replaced. People can not.
Story of the Day?
Today we had to turn in our English papers, and I accidently turned in my rough draft all marked up and gross as my final draft. Luckily at the end of school, I caught the mistake and everything is fixed. (unlike your car, sorry bout that)
Well, it's not really wrecked, I just could not find a better word. (I'm no native english speaker...)
The hood is crumbled, the glass of one headlight broke (but the light works fine still), the bumper (and fender probably) have to be exchanged, as well as one strutting in the engine bay, as far as I can tell. The cooler appearently is not damaged, at least it does not leak, might be bent, but I could not see that.
The workshop is closed for the weekend, and will look into it on monday, so I will know better then.
I hope that the body/framework is not damaged. If it is, I probably go for a new car.
