Sea Elves, Sahuagin, and Sasserine (Oh my!)

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I'm starting up a Savage Tide campaign in the Pathfinder setting, and one of my players has an interesting concept in mind. But, I need a few questions answered.

First, I'm renaming Sasserine Ilizmagorti, which is a freecity on a large island right next to the Eye of Abendego. I figure it would be suitable for a port city shaking off the shackles of Chelish neglect, with conflicts with pirates. Is there anything I need to know before I inadvertantly ruin my game?

Second, I was wondering how the Sea Elves and Sahuagin are in this setting. Is it possible for them to have settlements in the area of the Eye? Do they still have that malenti thing going on? Any other information that could help me?

As for the Isle, I was thinking about placing it about two hundred, three hundred miles west of Senghor in the Kaava Lands. How does that sound?

The main thing to know about Ilizmagorti is that it's pretty much the biggest evil city in the region; it's a better stand in for Scuttlecove than Sasserine, in fact. If you're looking for a good Sasserine stand-in, something a little further south would probably work best, like Quent or Port Peril.

Sea Elves and Sahuagin both exist in the setting. Aquatic elves live mostly in the Arcadian Ocean, and sahuagin can be found anywhere, so you should be okay to go for that factor. They probably don't have the malenti thing going on, though... at least, not officially.

As for the Isle of Dread, the best place for it is several hundred miles southwest of the lower left corner of the map. The equator of the world is not on the regional map, after all; its' a few inches south of the map edge.

Thanks for the info.
