Borrowed Weapon Proficieny (Ex). When the Dude uses the Disarm manuver to take an opponent's weapon, he can wield it as if he were proficient in for a number of rounds equal to his Wisdom bonus (minimum 1 round), even if he lacks the Simple Weapon Proficieny, Martial Weapon Proficiency, or Exotic Weapon Proficiency normally required to be proficient with that weapon.

Empty Hand (Ex). At 2nd level, when the Dude ceases to use a weapon he has used Borrowed Weapon Proficiency with, he gains a +1d6 bonus to his unarmed strike damage rolls until the end of his next turn. This bonus increases by an additional +1d6 every 4 levels thereafter.

Steal Weapon (Ex). At 3rd level, when the Dude attempts to disarm an opponent, he can use a Sleight of Hand skill check instead of an attack roll to disarm his opponent. He still receives the +4 bonus from the Improved Disarm feat.

Bonus Feat. At levels 4 and 8, the Dude can choose a bonus feat from the following list. He must meet the requirements of the selected feat.
Acrobatic Strike, Combat Acrobat, Eyes in the Back of Your Head, Lunging Strike, Throw Anything, Versatile Unarmed Strike, Water Splitting Stone, Weapon Finesse.

Borrowed Weapon Focus (Ex). At 5th level, when you are using Borrowed Weapon Proficiency, you gain an insight bonus equal to your Wisdom bonus (minimum +1) on your attack rolls.

Steal Weapon Style (Ex). At 7th level, when you are using your Borrowed Weapon Proficiency, you gain a number of bonus feats equal to one half your Wisdom bonus (minimum 1), that the opponent you took the weapon you are wielding from has. The bonus feats must pertain to the use of the weapon you took.

Borrowed Weapon Mastery (Ex). At 9th level, when you are using Borrowed Weapon Proficiency, you gain an insight bonus equal to your Wisdom bonus (minimum +1) on your damage rolls.

That's a fun class!

I first thought of the word commandeer, but commandeerer sounds as cumbersome as rural juror!

One synonym later ... the confiscatorix!

humm a few
Borrow blade adept
blade thief
sword bandit

or you could go with a more setting themed name such as

Varasori
Order of the stolen blade
Blade thrives of arondran

or something of the like

Or simply "Master of the Empty Hand", as this is the signature of your class (hey Bladesong is the signature ability of bladesingers after all)

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

Riffing off of seeker's suggestions, and not exactly what you are looking for, I think Stolen Strike would be a cooler name than Borrowed Weapon (etc).

ya know stolen strike does sound better

Liberty's Edge

Call this class the "Blade Thief".

Edit: I didn't see Seeker's suggestion of the same name. Sorry. Still, its a good name.

Jujitsu master.

Jujutsu evolved among the samurai of feudal Japan as a method for dispatching an armed and armored opponent in situations where the use of weapons was impractical or forbidden. Due to the difficulty of dispatching an armored opponent with striking techniques, the most efficient methods for neutralizing an enemy took the form of pins, joint locks, and throws. This off-shoot, however, emphasizes disarms. These techniques were developed around the principle of using an attacker's energy against him, rather than directly opposing it.

*(Added the disarm sentence to the wikipedia entry.)

All great ideas! I was considering Disarming Scoundrel for a while, but this is primarily (but not exclusively) a monk class....and many monks aren't scoundrels.

I wonder if this class would be better if we gave it only Good Reflex saves, but then 6 skill points per level, plus adding Disable Device, Open Lock, and Search to the list of class skills. Then I think Blade Thief would work as a cool name.
