I saw this article on the net today. Looks like Axel Foley is going to be back on the big screen for the franchise's 25 anniversery.

I really hope they do it justice and take it back where it started - a gritty crime story with an off-the-wall protagonist.

Ratner did a pretty good job of following the style of the X-Men movies for X3 - I really think 3 would have been the best if he had a better filming schedule and more cooperation from the studio.

Well there is always Christian Bale. He's in every other movie lately in that role. Also James Marsden, or to keep to the feel of the old films, Hugh Jackman. He's Australian you know. ;p
