So far out of my 6 players the three that have there characters done all are playing non core races.
One is very easy he is playing a Dopple from the Dragon Star game and he appears as a human and we have a great story.
One is playing a Raptorian Cleric and we have come up with that there is a local tribe around Sandport and he is sent to the festivle as some what of an Embassary
The last one will be the hardest so far he wants to be a Monk (Killgoran I think thats the name of the nature spirt in Book of the Wild) I want to have him a part of the monestary that Tstuo stayed at how could we tie a spirt of nature to a monestary. We were thinking of the standard orfan line and he leaves the monestary because he is tired of being away from nature
What do you guys think will these races be a problem and who knows what my other PCs are going to want to play

How much do you tend to personalize these games? Are you playing an AP because you don't have time to create a home campaign, or because you've heard that it's an amazing story and want to personalize it?
For me it's the second case, so I've had time to create elaborate family trees and backstories for the various PCs. I've also been able to weave plot threads involving them into the path, which sometimes is the only thing keeping them on track. :)
A lot of having them fit in will depend on how much free time you have to work on this. For what it's worth though, I think that another GM had some raptorans involved in a RotRL game, and there might be notes around somewhere on how that was done.

What God does your Raptoran Cleric follow? Two of my players are currently playing Raptorans in RotRL - one Ranger, one Cleric of Desna.
I did a bit of customisation to fit the Raptorans into Varisa, particularly the Cleric of Desna. So far, it's been working really well!
You might want to refer to a couple of other posts I've contributed on Raptorans in RotRL. Feel free to rip ideas from these threads.
Players beware - spoilers follow:
I'd be interested to hear how your campaign works out :-)
