Can rogues use Evasion to avoid missile attacks

I see it's a area attack but I wasn't sure.

Missile being ranged weapons in this case, like a arrow or bullet.

Rogues can use evasion to avoid any attack that allows them to make a Reflex save for half damage (assuming they aren't hampered by some other effect). Normally, this isn't the case for an arrow or bullet.

The attacker can check, but this is usual for certain spells and special abilities, not for 'to hit' attacks with bows and slings.
