I'm living in Norfolk, VA, and hope to begin running a Beta test game soon here, but I would really like to play in a Society campaign.
I posted a note on the boards here about games in No. Virginia. I know thats kinda far for you. I might run games at MarsCon in Williamsburg in January too.

The Tidewater RPGA group plays next door in Virginia Beach. We're starting LFR every Monday in September at "Tower of Games" and Living Arcanis every Wednesday at "Atlantis Comics" (the VABeach store on Kempsville Rd).
We haven't started any PFS games yet, but no one is opposed to it, for sure. If you care to drop by sometime I'm sure we can get some interest and go from there.

Someone will definatly be running games at MarsCon as I know the organized play coordinator for that event quite well. I see him every day in fact...in the mirror :).

I can't make any promises about a Society game here, but I'll be at Worlds Best Comics (on Warwick Blvd. in Newport News- 5959005) this Saturday (weather permitting) if you'd like to meet some folks (including some who will be a Marscon). I haven't motivated anyone to run/play Society stuff yet, but another voice added won't hurt.
We'll be there from lunch till 10pm or so if you want to come by. (The store is open til 1am.)
(Ask for Niel, I'm there on Tuesday mornings and alternate Saturdays. Saturday is a new Spelljammer campaign, followed by L5R.)

As a former Norfolk native, I might have to pay you guys a visit if I'm ever in the area visiting the family. :)
Dane! You are always welcome to come on down so I can put you to work ;-)
We don't have a venture Captain yet in Virginia. To be fair when I make my Seattle trips I try to get into a game up there as well.
Edgar I ran the PFS at the Virginia Beach location and when it shutdown I moved it to Norfolk as that store had better play area for RPG's as it has two private rooms and I admit I have some love for the old Campaign Headquarters location.

Well, if I ever move back to Norfolk (not entirely out of the question, but certainly not planning to anytime soon) maybe I can convince my 'superiors' to let me shift over as VC there should there not be one already :)
But I'd totally be willing to pop in and run some games (maybe even a session of the Special, whatever it may be at the time. Currently it's Midnight Mauler). I'll have to see if I'll be able to afford a trip down to visit in the near future...

@Darius, that's awesome. I got into Pathfinder before the Virginia Beach location closed, but didn't try to get into PFS until it closed. I'm also just out of High-School, so I don't have a ride. My Learner's Permit registration stuff got screwed up, and then I was unable to take it again. That's pretty much the only reason I haven't been out to the Norfolk location yet.

Just transfered to little creek virginia looking for a group of people to play with. Anyone out there that may have room for a dwarf who likes to drink and fight.
