I played my first "tabletop" game as a player last night. One of my normal group ran the game, using the set piece from Shadow in the Sky, he didn't even have time to read the whole thing through!
It was great, I got to play the Absinthe swilling Seltyiel taking scant regard for the lives and misfortunes of children and villains alike. We even captured Beltias.
It was a blast and afterwards he said "That was good, I thought it was going to be difficult, but it's so well written, it's just easy". Now he's itching to play and DM again.
