The Oliphaunt of Jandelay

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Silver Crusade

So do we have any idea what this is yet, besides freaking huge and its possible location?

Just wondering on account of it apparently being freaking huge, like Tarrasque huge, which inevitably led to idle wondering about the Oliphaunt possibly being searched for as a countermeasure against the Big T itself(I'm a big advocate for using the tarrasque less as an encounter and more as an ongoing event, like a hurricane. With feet.).

For some reason now I imagine the tarrasque as Taz...

Anyway... whatever the Oliphaunt is... it always sounded like a big ass elephant for me... Now imagine a huge elephant buttheading the Taz... er, I mean the Tarrasque

Liberty's Edge

I've always wondered if this Oliphaunt of Jandelay was related in any way to the Wombat of Augsurprise or the dreaded Badger of Declayoff.

I do believe the Badger was sighted earlier than usual this year...

Anyway, I think the Oliphaunt is meant to be much larger then the Tarrasque. The one illustration I've seen of it has it standing over a thousand feet tall.
