Why is Paizo named Paizo? I.e. what does the word 'Paizo' stand for?

Paizo cofounder Johnny Wilson suggested the name, which comes from a biblical Greek word meaning "to play." (The original Greek word is "paiðzw.")

How do you pronounce "Paizo?"?
We pronounce it to rhyme with "pie dough."

It may be derived from "Paitso," but I doubt they'd admit to us if it did. AFter all, it's the Goblin word for "stretchy nasal mucus". Sounds much cooler for them to pluck a word out of a made-up language like Greek :)
