Currently I have a subscription discount from my Pathfinder subscription. I have preordered the Pathfinder Campaign Setting, Pathfinder RPG Beta, as well as the hardcover due in 2009. If I cancel my subscription before Second Darkness will effect those preorders since they are billed when shipped?

At the moment, we only check your eligibility at purchase time. However, re-checking your eligibility at shipment time is on our to-do list. I *doubt* we'll change it by the time the Campaign Setting or the Beta ship (no guarantee, though), but we will eventually.

Something to remember:
When they check for eligibility, they check to see if the most recent Pathfinder to ship was shipped to you as part of your subscription.
So the Advantage doesn't kick in until an issue of Pathfinder ships on your subscription.
This prevents people from subscribing, placing an order with the Advantage discount, then cancelling their subscription before an issue of Pathfinder actually ships.
Well I was billed for next years Pathfinder RPG already. Either I got lucky or someone at Paizo was giving me a hand. Thanks if a hand was given.

That's an authorization to ensure your credit card is valid, not an actual monetary transaction. We don't charge for anything until we ship it.
