Having joined a few PBPs on these boards as a player, I'm now thinking of trying my hand at DMing a game here. I'd like to try running Tower of the Last Baron in either 3.5 or PRPG Alpha 3, ideally with 4 or 5 players, with the option of continuing on to its sequel once it's released.

Ya the sorcerer looks intriguing, I was also thinking of a sorcerer, A half-orc sorcerer with the Abyssal blood line, but I was gonna go high strength and buff spells and see if I can Muck it up so it is probably different than the sorcerer you would play...But if 2 sorcerers are too much I can play something else. Was hoping for P3.75 with racial HP and all the bells and whistles, was also wondering what books we can use... Looking forward to this!
Well, I'd go half elf with Air elemental blood line, so I think our spell selections would be radically different and so it could be a lot of fun to have a pair of sorcs, add a rogue in and it's looking like a very mobility based group so far :)
It's still a maybe, but I'm thinking human rogue or dwarven barbarian now.
Two very different choices, but yeah. My mind goes that way.

ya I am just lookign for inspiration on my half orc sorcerer and I definatly will not be in a Merlin mold.. I am finding a lot of spells that enhance my combat options in Melee. So ya I think our sorcerers will be like night and day. On a side note they may be kindred spirits being seen as outcasts by their respected race, since we are 2 half-breeds. Could be fun Roleplaying this!

Keep in mind that there will probably be a lot of infiltration involved in this game when considering characters :). Since people seem to be more interested in doing PFRG than 3.5, I'll be running with PFRG Alpha 3, probably converting to Beta once it's released. I'll post creation specifics later once I get home from work (such as point numbers etc).
I'd prefer that people are available to post most weekdays. No evil characters, and I'd like to run with the core classes only. Feats and spells from other books, I'll vet on an individual basis - so please run any non-core options you're interested in past me first.
I think one more player or so, and we have a group. :)
Got room for a stealthy bruiser, a hard-knuckled get the job done type. Probably a beefy rogue...half-orc...at the risk of littering the party with half-breeds.
Ok, Durendal and Kevin make up the last two players :). I'm willing to go to six players if Franz decides he's in, otherwise it'll be five players. The game will be starting at level 5.
It would probably be a good idea for the group to have a healer of some sort.
Kevin - what race are you thinking of?
That would lead me to Cleric or Druid.
Maybe a dwarven Druid? Or a Gnome Cleric...

Gotta go with the Half-breeds, therefore thinking of a Half-Giant. Would be LA+1.
As for the class, with a catfolk cleric, we would need a barbarian.

This is shaping up to be an interesting bunch... :) I have no idea what the module is about (Okay, I know it has something to do with a baron. The last one.) but it'll be fun to see how this party fits in.
Hm.. I'm not so sure catfolk would fit so well into the game/setting (I didn't know there was a D&D race for them :-p). Do you have another race you might be happy with playing instead?
