I can't seem to find the campaign "start date" for the Edge of Anarchy.
Some pretty signicant events start on the day the adventurers complete Chapter 1 -- surely there is a specific date for this day?
I'm also wondering, what area of the city is 3 Lancet Street in? What area is the fishery in?
I don't recall seeing this information in the module. (Maybe its not needed either, but with all the work put into the design of Korvosa, it seems odd for the module to not give at least a general area where the locales are at).

I went with the day after the King's Birthday (16 Calistril), starting the campaign on 17 Calistril 4708 AR. 3 Lancet Street and the Old Fishery are in the Midlands district. There is a map of the important locales for the adventure in the first couple pages of "Edge of Anarchy," though if you want juicy Korvosa details, I'd highly recommend getting "Guide to Korvosa." It really fleshes out the city immensely.

You don't recall seeing the start date because there isn't one! :-)
Although the events in this campaign are indeed significant, we don't nail them down to a specific date. That lets GMs set the adventure any time they want, and allows you to build your own customized history for your own Golarion campaign, since this lets you run Adventure Paths and modules in whatever order you wish.
The "Guide to Korvosa" does indeed have a lot more information about the city, but it's not totally essential to run Pathfinder Adventures unless you have a party that enjoys going off the adventure's rails and into exploring the city on their own (and even then, the "Guide to Korvosa" isn't totally necessary if you enjoy building up locations on your own).
In any case, as Lilith mentions, the locations important to the adventure are indeed located on the map of Korvosa in that volume.
