Anyone gaming this holiday weekend? WotC will be at a local convention so I'll be checking to see if they're running anything.
I'm working myself into a bloody pulp this lovely holiday weekend.....go... go....poor career choices and working at a company that doesn't recognize any labor laws passed since 1848!

Yep. My Saturday group is meeting for a little Rifts action (and my character is probably going to end up in a world of hurt for ... umm... kinda accidentally unleashing a viral plague among the Gargoyles without intending to...)
Oh, and Happy birthday, DM Jeff!

Oh man. O.O
That's going to be, uh, interesting...I have visions of Gurgoyles and those freaky Gargoyle mech things coming down y'alls throats. Good luck with that!

I will be for certain. On Sunday my intrepid group begins book 5 of Rise of the Runelords, and we eat cake for my birthday! What a gift to be rolling d20's and showing my friends some high adventure!

Hey Happy Birthday!
As for me I wish I was gaming, hell I wish I had a better job so I could say I was working to make some cash. As it stands my gaming life is on these boards or otherwize stagnet.
Warning to all, having a group made up largely of 3 Brothers is great, until family problems take most of your group away. Worse part is I don't blame them one bit. Hell I told them the game will be there when they get back. Now I'm dead in the water. Sorry didn't mean to bring everyone down. Like I said Happy B-Day Jeff, and many more.

Thank the lord ther are still Rifters outthere. I've been wanting to play Rifts or maybe a Robotech game for a long time now. By the way anyone see the new Robotech Character sheet? Its fantastic, I'd use it for Rifts in a heartbeat.

we played yesterday (d20 modern urban arcana) - but there's a CON in this town this weekend, maybe I visit it sunday (maybe, because I don't know if I can stand this amount of "vampire-life-angst-nerds" and "schtupid players of schtupid-games who want to tell me all about their characters, though I will not listen to it" on one place ...) :-) Getting old ...
edit: europe here, no holiday

Yep, (though here in the UK it's just another weekend of course), Sunday I shall be GM'ing my guys through an expedition into Fuglsbagm ('Birdbeam') Wood - a region of my homebrew setting mysteriously full of birdlife, both benign and not so.
The party are following a lead to the grave of a long dead monk, which they believe holds the monk's knowledge of a local dungeon and how to get into it, and which grave is located in a lost monastery in the heart of the Fuglsbagm, and little do they know once was under the sway of a (long gone) Pazuzu Cult.
I've just been working out an 'evil birdy' type encounter table actually.
Gotta love the Scythe Falcon from Creature Collection #1! ;-)
