Changing payment method question

Hi :)
I am getting rid of my old credit card for a different one and would like to have the old one deleted. I have added my new one as a payment method but the system doesn't seem to let me delete the old one.

Jim,

You had some preorders placed against the old card. I've updated them to the new card.
