This is largely why I stay away from the Wizards boards: too many people proclaiming that the wizard sucks, or that the cleric is still broken, or other stupid things that dont affect my game at all.

Hoo, boy. A gamer TV show would be ... ugly. No doubt some level of LARPing would have to be involved, just so the gamer talking-heads could settle whether or not a Free Action negated a Rogues use of First Strike.

Oy. (hehe, funny article, thanks for the headsup!)

Very pithy and spot on. I have had a few conversations that went along the lines of 'I hear the new dnd is really s@*#ty' 'really? what about it?' 'I dunno just that everyone says it sucks'. But I think most people know a comic book guy when they read them, and the dnd 'plainers are one of the purest strains of comic book guys. Your average well adjusted gamer (both of them) does not spend hours refreshing forums so they can argue about gnome attribute bonuses.

And yes, I know what that means about me :)

Not sure that that is the reason more folks don't play RPGs though.

This might be the best thing I've ever read.
