Has anyone tried the stand-alone Harrow game yet?
I'm an avid BoardGameGeek, and I'm curious how the card game is. If it's at least Three-Dragon Ante good, then I'll probably pick it up. If it's no better than Inn Fighting, then I'll have to pass.
Sadly, I'm starting to have serious doubts about ever getting to run anyone through Curse of the Crimson Throne, so I'll need another reason to find space in my game closet for Harrow. *sigh* :-(

I've used Harrow readings in other D&D games.. as long as you have an idea of what you plan for the PCs and an imagination quick enough to ad lib the reading itself. It can be a great tool for any roleplaing environment
I personally have not played the stand alone game, someone in my play by post has though, and said it was good
It's interesting. I think I need a few more play-throughs to get it right.

Gameplay is entirely positional, rather than numeric or text-based, which makes it very different from other card games I have played. It's a lot of fun, but it hurts my head a bit because I'm completely not used to thinking that way.
I confess to totally sucking at it. I also suck at Falling, though I enjoy dealing it.
