I thought discount applied to Overseas shipping of printed material under a certain weight, but currently I'm not seeing any discount to shipping applied in the shopping cart. Was this a limited time offer?
Is there a page on the Paizo website that discusses all the different shipping options, including weights, discounts or other relevant factors?
Thanks :-)

Okay, after a little experimenting, adding and changing products in the shopping cart, I think I've answered my own question:
"Discounted shipping for international shipments over $25 up to 4 pounds".
Unfortunately, this doesn't help out with pre-orders of Pathfinder RPG Beta, which is UNDER $25, while ordering TWO copies still doesn't qualify - over 4 pounds maybe?
Subtotal (1 Item) $21.24
Shipping & Handling $39.30
Order Total $60.54
$60 for one copy is a bit expensive :-( The best option I could find was to order 6 copies together, maybe co-ordinating my purchase with a few friends, which lowers the cost to about $30 per book:
Subtotal (6 Items) $127.44
Shipping & Handling $53.45
Order Total $180.89
Anything over 6 copies, and the shipping takes another jump ($107.03)
Cheers!

What shipping option is that? And where are you from? I just put it in the shopping card to check things out, and shipping to Germany came out as about 12$ (about 15 minus the shipping discount).
Maybe the discount only applies to the cheapest shipping option (which I normally use).
Urgh - $39.30 wasn't the cheapest shipping option available - that should have been Standard Postal Delivery $20.73.
I think once you've added items to your cart that cause the shipping method to change, that shipping option remains even when you remove items from your cart - easily overlooked.
Pathfinder Advantage discount reduces the cover price by 15% from $24.99 to $21.24. No other discounts, particularly in regards to Shipping, appeared.
I'm from Melbourne, Australia.

Ah, that sounds more like it. I guess Australia's a bit more expensive than Europe, but still, 20 bucks should be a lot more palatable than 40.
I don't know the exact information about that shipping discount, but you should try getting something cheap - just so you'll go over 25 and see if the shipping discount won't make it cheaper in the end, or at least as cheap as without the item and discount. I'm sure they have something that would interest you, and if it doesn't cost you anything (or even saves you money...)

You got it. Including the weight of the box and packing material, one copy of the Beta would be around 3 pounds, while 2 copies would be about 6. When you go over 4 pounds, the only international option is Priority Mail. We don't subsidize Priority Mail—only standard delivery.
Anything over 6 copies, and the shipping takes another jump ($107.03)
That's probably the jump from a Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box to a weight-based Priority Mail shipment (though it could have been the jump between one Priority Flat-Rate Box and a different Priority Flat-Rate Box—they have three different boxes with three different prices).
Isn't shipping fun?
KaeYoss is right: if you want the shipping discount, add something else that weighs less than a pound to your order. (Books are *roughly* a pound per hundred pages.) Perhaps a miniature?

I've found that Kobold Quarterly or Paizo's Flip Maps do a nice job! Thanks for the tip :-)
