My Compliments on Your Paper Stock

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I wasn't sure whether this should go in this section, or under the 4th edition headers, but ultimately, I decided to put it here so I can let you Paizonics know you're doing well!

Essentially, whatever paper-stock you're using for your Pathfinder adventure paths, keep using it! It's awesome!

This past weekend, I bought the D&D 4th Ed book set in that case they collect them, all sealed up in plastic. When I unwrapped it in the gamestore and pulled the books out, the pages were already wobbly around the edges, (you know, when you look at a page and can see shadows being cast onto the page by its own curvitures,) as if it was oversaturated with ink or had been stored in a place of high humidity. This was right out of the (Sealed!) box, in the store, mind you!

By contrast, I've had a Pathfinder subscription since the beginning, and despite living in an apartment that tends toward humidity (we run our dehumidifiers a lot,) the pages of my copy of Pathfinder #1 are still crisp and firm. Wizards of the Coast could learn a lot from you on physical product material levels!

Ditto with Drakli. May I ask what is the stock? I've submitted two reviews to rpg.net for its "Fantasy Week" on the Gazetteer and Monsters Revisited. In both, I mention the high quality of the paper ("slick"). I'd love to know the technical term for my future reviews. (Next one: Pathfinder RPG AR3).
