Many of the AoW monsters have the Unholy Toughness SQ. Was this (amazing!) ability developped by one of the authors of AoW, or was this taken from a source such as Libris Mortis? for the life of me I cannot find this anywhere else, and I'm curious as to how the ability impacts the CR of a creature (I'm thinking of adding the ability to some home-made undead baddies, such as vampire lords, archliches, etc. because at high levels, where PCs have monstrous Constitutions, undead foes start losing some of their scare factor...)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It was first used for some of the monsters in Monster Manual III, so its not OGL but for personal games it's fine.
I can't remember the name of it now, but in one of Necromancer's Tome of Horror books (either II or III), there was a feat that granted the same benefit to undead as Unholy Toughness.
