Lost Coast?

Rise of the Runelords

What's the definition of the Lost Coast? Is it the west coast of Varisia? Riddleport is the northernmost edge, but what's the southern edge? Is that Magnimar? Does the Lost Coast extend further, curving around and following the marsh toward Korvosa?

I always assumed it meant the road that ran along the coast. I thought it meant there was a very old read their and no one is sure who built it.

The Lost Coast is the coastline along the east side Varisian Gulf, starting at Magnimar and running up to Riddleport.

The name itself comes from a stretch of Northern Californa's coastline that's so rugged and wilderness that the cost of building roads there is more than anyone can afford. The town I grew up in, Point Arena, isn't technically part of the Lost Coast, but it is only about 60 or so miles south of where it starts; close enough, in other words, to feel pretty remote anyway.

Thanks!

The lost coast is the coast line from Magnimar to Windsong Abbey with Sandpoint about 2/3 up the coast line.
