Kaurophon's look?

What kind of half-fiend is Kaurophon? I read in "Seguing from Demonskar Legacy to Test of the Smoking Eye" Sean's post bellow that he was "two-faced" - what is this meaning?

"Two-faced" is a figure of speech meaning he is tricky and dishonest. It's an idiom and doesn't have anything to do with his physical appearance. He shows a friendly face to the PC's while he needs them, then he turns against them when it suits him, showing his "other face."

Personally, I think he looks part E.T.

Funny anecdotal story here when my players first met him:

He was polymorphed to look human and once he earned an audience with the PCs to explain his tale, he explained that he wanted to be completely honest with them and let them know that he is just appearing to be human - in fact hes actually part fiend, and merely hides his true form as it creates such animosity in people just to look at him (he was playing to their empathy side in being victims of blind bigotry on how one looks - since they too have members of the party that is despised simply due to the race they are). Once this seemed to work, he offered to let them see his true form for a moment so there is no secrets to be had.

He revealed himself - I showed the players his picture. (aside from a few out of character E.T. and Yoda comments), the paladin in the group began to detect evil and asked,

"what nature of creature are you?"
Karauphon responded, "My mother was Shalosian" (Shalosian is a human subtype race of my world not unlike the Persian Empire)
The wizard piped in and said "...and your father?"

I paused a moment and simply stated "Wasn't"
