Neither sword bothers me at all . . . but that dude's head is tiny! Is than an Andoran trait, or is that just a particular trait of that gentleman?
Yep, displacement of attention.
"Igor!"
"Yeth, marthter?"
"Fetch my sword, I want to go and slaughter 600 villagers and a squirrel."
"But why the thquirrel, marther?"
"See? No one gives a damn about the villagers."

I think it's the fact that most people actually see Amiri.
And give mister fancy-pants a break. He's in dress uniform, for a parade. With a showpiece sword like that, there's really no other explanation.
what about pages 258-259 in the Inner Sea World Guide that pic that show two Eagle Knights fighting a Chelaxian slaver? They are both wearing Dress Uniforms and carrying swords just like that one.

Needs is when the devil comes a courtin'
Maybe he got ambushed going to or form or during a formal event?
Why the big ass sword and how does that count as 'diplomatic dress'? There are charms to summon the weapon.
Besides, I like it. Its the rule of cool... I was actually considering a spell caster that wore an armoured uniform who was an officer /acted as if he considered himself on duty at all times etc

Just took that pic... removed the head, made the sword more slender (and repaired the damage done to the legs thereof) and shorter (more broadsword size) then made the entire graphic more slender... resized the head and re-attached.
Took 20 mins in Paint and the result isn't bad. Less burly and the weapon is now reasonably sized.
I think I will get some use out of it one day.
