Why is everyone up in arms about Amiri's sword but not the sword of an Andoren Eagle Knight? Total double standard if you ask me.

Neither sword bothers me at all . . . but that dude's head is tiny! Is than an Andoran trait, or is that just a particular trait of that gentleman?

Liberty's Edge

I think it's more the fact that his shoulders are HUGE. The big eagle emblems in gold don't hurt the illusion, either.

Yep, displacement of attention.

"Igor!"
"Yeth, marthter?"
"Fetch my sword, I want to go and slaughter 600 villagers and a squirrel."
"But why the thquirrel, marther?"
"See? No one gives a damn about the villagers."

Silver Crusade

He must be wearing some heavy-duty armor under that uniform; there's no way anyone would ever be suicidal enough to wear fancy nonsense like that into battle! xD

It's all a lie: He's actually a summoner and as such a member of the Voltron Force.

Either that or the village idiot.

<Taldor> It's not the size of Amri's sword, it's that she can't clean the kitchen while wearing it. Besides, is anyone really surprised that a *sniff* Andoran is overcompensating?</Taldor>

Liberty's Edge

I think it's the fact that most people actually see Amiri.
And give mister fancy-pants a break. He's in dress uniform, for a parade. With a showpiece sword like that, there's really no other explanation.

Bah, who needs swords when you have all the power of Hell behind you.

what about pages 258-259 in the Inner Sea World Guide that pic that show two Eagle Knights fighting a Chelaxian slaver? They are both wearing Dress Uniforms and carrying swords just like that one.

Suicidal? I'm wearing motley into battle. Works like a charm.

Needs is when the devil comes a courtin'

Maybe he got ambushed going to or form or during a formal event?

Why the big ass sword and how does that count as 'diplomatic dress'? There are charms to summon the weapon.

Besides, I like it. Its the rule of cool... I was actually considering a spell caster that wore an armoured uniform who was an officer /acted as if he considered himself on duty at all times etc

Just took that pic... removed the head, made the sword more slender (and repaired the damage done to the legs thereof) and shorter (more broadsword size) then made the entire graphic more slender... resized the head and re-attached.

Took 20 mins in Paint and the result isn't bad. Less burly and the weapon is now reasonably sized.

I think I will get some use out of it one day.

Well, that's silly. :-p
