Suggestion for PDFs

Customer Service

Since the Chronicles line started, I have had a feeling that customers having both Pathfinder and Chronicles subscriptions are being "punnished" considering when being able to download PDFs, compared to only Pathfinder subscribers.

It seems odd, that when we choose to ship as soon as a new Pathfinder module are brought in, we are last in line.

So here is my suggestion:

As soon as you are ready to ship any item, if a customer have been a subscriber on that item line for a given time (6 or 12 months), that customer are given access to the pdf right away, even before you have credited any money. The customer have been there for said time, and isn't likely to stop right now.

Flaws: A customer might cancel a subscription, after you released the PDF, making you loose money.
Benefits: Customer satisfaction, and a reason to not stop and restart subscriptions.

I believe that the advantages clearly outweighs the disadvantages, and anyone who cancels a subscription to receive a "free" pdf, was probably a customer you were going to loose anyway, and it that case, that lost PDF might not translate to much money anyways.

Honestly, I am quite angry at the moment, that you held my PF#8, to ship with Classic Monsters, when I chose a Ship my Pathfinder as soon as possible option. My hardcopy is about a month to reach me. Whats important for me, is the possibility to look at my Pathfinder at the same time it is discussed on the forum.

I have considered subscribing to the Companion, but since its first release is in august, I haven't decided yet. The current amount of stalling due to my Chronicles subsription, makes me lean towards not going on Companion. I just don't want more reasons for delays, when I feel I that I in fact should get a higher priority due to supporting Paizo.

Normally, we *do* prioritize people with multiple subscriptions. Our printer is usually really good about shipping products to us in the same shipping containers, so things arrive on the same day. And when multiple items arrive together, we start fulfilling with the people who have ordered everything in that shipment, and fulfill the people who have ordered single items last.

This month, two containers ended up coming in two days apart this time—one was late and one was early—so we made the call to slide some shipments back by a couple of days to ensure that you won't have to wait a month longer than you need to for Classic Monsters.

I'm sorry it wasn't the best solution for you, but we think that more people would rather wait two days for their Pathfinder than up to a month for their Classic Monsters.
