PAX in the Seattle area is 2 weeks after Gen Con, and it's local to you folks. Any chance we're going to see some Pathfinder Society action going on there?

I'm in the Seattle area as well and would very much like to participate. I can GM or even assist with organization.

Any word on Pathfinder Society presence at PAX or at Dragonflight in Paizo's backyard.

Again, I am willing to assist -- but I would need some official support.

Unless PAX stops charging huge sums for their play space, we won't be able to run games there.

No word on Dragonflight, though I don't imagine it'll happen this year.

Ah...good point. I totally understand.

Alternately, the Seattle MOB is a local (to Paizo) gaming group that would support Pathfinder Society play -- much as we currently support RPGA play and have supported other "semi-orgainzed play" campaigns (Legends of Erde, Technoterra, StarMage Prophecies, The Great River, Portals of Midwrathe, etc.).

Hey, I just asked the MOB on their mailing list if there was any interest in Pathfinder Chronicles when it came out. Not much of a response yet, but I'm hoping to be able to kick up some interest.

Is there any way we can take advantage of playing in Paizo's back yard to help kick off the new campaign for people who might not otherwise be following it?

I'm not actually sure how to reach out to the Pathfinder Society for something like this. It seems like most of the focus at this point is on GenCon and such.

I am available to run and organize things at the Seattle MOB. With the death of LG and the other 3.5e related "living" campaigns this is an excellent time to get things rolling for something new.

Are you on the Seattle Mob's Yahoo Group mailing list? If you added your voice to mine, we'd nearly double the popular support for starting up a Society campaign.

Yes, I am a member of the Seattle Mob. I am Don Without-Portfolio. Usually I am the one responsible for introducing variant campaigns to the Mob game days.

I got a timely response from Mr. Frost. In response to my request to participate he stated, "We'll be releasing details for volunteers in the next month.".

In the meantime I suggest we try to muster some support among those folks who are not yet aware of the Pathfinder RPG.
