I don't know if this has ever been brought up but since one of the iconics is Andoran, I would like to know what that means as far as being human is concerned. Is there a place set aside in the setting that Andorans come from? If so where is it and what is it like? I ask because one of my players is supposed to be Andoran and he's asked questions about it. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I have to be a smart-alek (I'm compulsive), but:
1. That's more Pathfinder Chronicles stuff, not Pathfinder RPG stuff, as it's setting stuff
2. Rules-wise, it should not be a difference where you come from. You still get the human traits.
3. Information about Andor or Andora (I'd guess that's where they come from, unless it's an ethnical group that's not tied ot a single country) and Andorans will probably be in the Gazetteer and in the Chronicles Campaign Setting.
4. Until you get more official information (James is bound to be around any minute now to tell us at least a little bit), you and the player can always come up with your own flavour.
5. hazel nuts taste good, and so does salami with bread wrapped around it (this doesn't have anything to do with this, but guess what I'm snacking on)

Hey, you know what? I just thought of this! I'm in charge of Thursday blog posts. I'll post up a little information on Andoran from the Gazetteer for next Thursday's blog. How does that sound? :)

I have spent countless hours building worlds. I really enjoy paying attention to the tiny details. When I put together a calendar, and want to add festival days, I start with the seasons and how each region is affected. Then I consider the food; crops, livestock, fishing, etc; and I work out when one or more of these are in surpuls in a region. This makes local festivals seem more organic, to me; and it inspires trade routes and commerce as the timeline progresses. I do like the idea of non-days, where "who-knows-what" can happen.

The pheasant has no agenda.
But more importantly, Thank you Mike McArtor! I'm looking forward to seeing Andoran, I think it sounds like it will become a PC favourite origon country, alongside Varisia. Just like many of my PC's preferred Breland, and its hippy in comparison semi-republic government in Eberron.
Roll on next thursday!

Sounds great, Mike. Thanks. Both my player and I appreciate it very much. And I also apologize for posting this in the wrong section of the boards. I don't get to navigate the boards alot so I'm still a little unsure about things.
