Well it's official too much D&D has completely rotted away my common sense heres a list of what I got talked into doing this summer. (Just a disclaimer I don't believe in ghosts as of right now, not that I have anything against the "life impaired" I've just never seen or met one)
- In St. John's adventures going to Queens Rd. and see if we can spot or meet the headless Lieutenant who supposedly still does his patrols down this road even after his decapitation.
- Going to the Newman's Wine Cellar the historic site of many strange occurences including the discovery of a head in a barrel of wine by to thieving drunkard employees, The mummified child smuggled from a distant land, and the apparition of said child, the apparition of an unknown woman, and the apparition of a employee still hanging from a noose.
-Going to Bell Island to go see or hear the screams of a legendary Seahag/Banshee. While on Bell island we are to go see the condemned Iron mines to see if the ghostly miners will appear as they are supposed to at sunset for the end of shift.
- Going to the island of Quippan also known in past days as the "Isle of Demons" supposedly haunted by nasty spirits who harrass visitors on nights of the new moon and sometimes injure them. Also to see the gjost of Lady Christine a young lady who was stranded on the island by her priest uncle (with her unmarried lover and her Maid.) She apparently appears still looking for her lover, and her lover appears looking for her and calling her name. They apparently tragically never appear together.
So it appears I'm going to have an interesting summer.

Oooh, lookin' for ghosties sounds fun. My city has several haunted locations that I've been meaning to check out but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
We did do the "7 Gates of Hell" in high school, and while it was slightly creepy, nothing major happened. The gates are short concrete tunnels that trains go over in the middle of the country covered in grafitti. Supposedly, if you can go through all 7 without passing through one twice you'll get ported to hell or open up a gate or something. The story comes from the 70s when there were rumors of KKK devil worshipers. I hadn't heard all the stories until a few years later and the bridges gave me the creeps, felt like someone was watching me or sitting outside the car. Everyone smoked cigarettes and I absolutely refused to roll my window down to let the smoke out.
Now, the area is much more developed and it's not nearly as freaky as it was. Sad, cause I'd like to check it out again and walk around the tracks and fight some baatezu.
