Just wanted to drop a note reinforcing my positive review of Key Largo. We played 3 times over this long Easter weekend: once with my wife and I playing 2 crews each (she's a non-gamer), once with my regular D&D/game group, and once at my FLGS. Every player had a great time, and my FLGS is going to make sure they get more in stock.
Thanks for another winner!

Nice! And I like the way you made it a 2-player game!

Yup, that's a strategy we used, especially when we saw the other player had dredged up a big hand.
Any other suggestions for 2-player variants?

You could dice rolls to simulate the presence of additional players at the shops. Say you roll a D6 for the additional players (1-2=zero players 3-4=one player and 5-6=two players) and then roll again for their action at the shop (1-2=option one 3-4=option two and 5-6=option three).
