This seems relevant to the readers of planet stories, so I wanted to point them to it. The satirical newspaper The Onion has a sister publication known as the Onion A.V. Club. They have quirky reviews of movies, comics, and stuff like that. One new featuer is called the Box of Paperbacks Club. The idea is that the reviewer stumbled upon a box of old pulp paperback novels and is reading and reviewing them. He's reviewed Wolfshead by Robert E. Howard, Outlaws of Mars by Otis Adelbright Kline, and some other random stuff. I don't do the magic linky thing, but it is below if you are interested:

Wow. Awesome site.
"Outlaws of Mars" is the sequel to "The Swordsman of Mars," which is already on the schedule.
It should be noted that the Ace paperback is a very badly cut version of the original serial in Argosy, but I doubt that more of it would have improved the reviewer's opinion of the book.
