Keegan caves in the sleeping wolf's skull, leaving a gory mess on the stone desk. Gurtlekep whips out another dagger and tries to hit Keegan in the back but the blade sinks into the wooden header of the doorway, quivering for a moment. 1d20 5=7, 1d3=2(kobold moved to D2)
Reposted for convenience....
Initiative-
Wolves-23
Jaden-22
Faldor-20+
Keegan-20
Effan-19
Gurtlekep-12+
Hozs-12
Hozs then the wolves.

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

I figured Jaden was refering to the heart inside the large wolf in E2 and was therefore making that Keegan's target. Was thinking he already ignored the wolf by going over it that it was out of his mind. Going for quickest path to the blood of the kobold for revenge or joy of drinking... Not really to sure his actual motivations and don't really think I want to be sure of them. But then again Keegan may have just found an easy victim to smoosh dang the rest.

Ahhh, OK, Retcon.
Keegan's blow glances off the larger wolf's shoulder leaving a small bloody smear and tearing free a small hunk of fur.

Hozs Ferryman |

"Meany!" Hozs lifts Miss Stick over his head and attacks the largest wolf. (15, 9) 1d20 3, 1d6 3=[12, 3], [6, 3])Not sure if I have room to charge so left out the stats-did remember the song though *grin* H will move to give K the flank--d'oh! not figured in either.

The False DM |

Raph takes a moment to examine the sleeping wolf before running her through so she doesn't suddenly awaken and attack the party. Coup de Grace. The sleeping wolf is pierced through the heart and expires.
The Worg roars out a howl of anguish and lashes out at Keegan. 1d20 5=24 to hit, 1d6 7=10 damage.
Keegan falls to the floor in a heap, unconcious and bleeding.
Jaden, Faldor, etc. are up.

I think we're still in 3. Thanks for the reminder. I'm gonna bump Effan's hp up 3. Will the fast healing auto-stabilize Keegan? Or should someone help him?

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

Eyes wide Faldor steps into the room and begins singing of how time can heal all wounds. Moved to G3
Cure light wounds
1d8+1=9
As the energy swells from his voice and his motions he releases it into Keegan's body.
Inspire courage song ended Five rounds left of +1 (I'll keep track to make it easy)

Almost Keegan Cawely |

Okay thanks.
With a cough and a wheeze, black smoke and reeking brimstone emit from Keegan’s mouth as his eyes open.
"We’s di'n't drink sirrah... D’nut think I’s ded, eh me cullies?"
Gripping his mace Keegan attempts to stand once again.
If he stands
Attack: 1d20+2 =21
Damage: 1d8+2 =9
“Time ta giv’um’s hearts up, ya savvy?”

Effan Effluvium |

His vision obstructed as Raph skewers the sleeping wolf, Effan pulls himself onto the table and begins the droning "ZZZzzz" again.
Move/climb from doorway to table top. (Please tell me I don't have to make a climb check. I'll scream race discrimination if you do. :p) Cast sleep behind the big wolf to keep friends out of area. If I can get Gurtlekep and wolf in the AoE I will.)

Hee-hee, you can climb the big bad table and target both the baddies. What's the DC and how many HD does it effect?
1d20 3=11 attack, 1d6 7=11 damage. The worg tries to prevent Keegan from rising but his jaws clamp shut on open air only.

DC 15 4 HD.

1d20 5=15 to hit, 1d3=1 damage. Effan sees a dagger whisking toward his head and jerks out of the way taking a minor cut to his scalp as he finds his movement isn't quite fast enough.....The Kobold laughs at his gyrations.

Effan glares at the kobald and prepares to cast again.
Off on vacation. Please see discussion thread.

Hozs Ferryman |

...
I believe he is at 7, he got hit for 5 early on then took the big hit followed by fast healing 1 and a clw for 9 more.
Fast healing 1 lasts for three rounds. 19 to hit, 7 damage=[14, 5], [4, 3] (I included song and flank).
An oddly childish giggle escapes from the big man when the bite misses Keegan. That would have tasted real bad Mr Wolf.... "Now taste Miss Stick!"

The False DM |

Hozs moves in next to Keegan and strikes at the wolf, landing a solid blow. The wolf aims at the Druid, 1d20 6=7, 1d6 7=13, but misses horribly. He steps back into the room 5'.
Worg is in D3, Gurtlekep is in D1.
Jaden, Faldor, Keegan and Effan's turns(I'll throw Raph in after).

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

Looking at the battle and seeing his fellow gnome’s idea Faldor begins a new song. Very little words are actually sung but the melody emanating from his lute begins to emit a sense of calm that then switches to lethargic and finally coming to a drowsy climax. And it is at the climax that the sense of drowsiness seeps outwards from the small fellow to cover the kobold.
Lullaby DC 17. Not sure how you can have a drowsy climax but Faldor obviously can do it no problem. Also the area of effect is ten ft radius. I figured this wouldn't be too hard to hit the enemy without hitting upon the rest of the party. Also add one to Jaden's damage and attack.

The False DM |

Gurtlekep fails his(1d20 1=11) but the Worg's will save for Lullaby-1d20 4=18, I think he makes it.
The kobold seems slightly less attentive suddenly.
Raph doesn't have an opening to get at the battle so he drops his rapier on the desk, pulls out his crossbow and loads it.
The worg is looking battered, one more good hit oughtta do it.
Effan is up.

Hozs Ferryman |

11 to hit, 4 damage. 1d20 5, 1d6 3=[6, 5], [1, 3]not likely even with the flank.\
"Oh no no no! No you don't" Hozs swings Miss Stick at Mister Wolf.

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

Taking a step to better see the Kobold as he moves around Faldor's song continues this time the melody is overly soothing with draconic words mixed in from an ancient wyrmling lullaby for flavor. Again as the magical energies begin to bulge they are released at the kobold.
Sleep DC 18. Trying to only catch the kobold and worg in the area of effect. Will post for Keegan after a DM posts a reply to all other players.
And Three rounds left for song bonus

The False DM |

Hozs moves around the worg to get at Gurtlekep but skips his staff along the wall as he swings and misses the Kobold. As Hozs regains his balance he sees a sturdy and simple axe suddenly materialize in the worg's ribs, propelled by Jaden's adrenaline boosted strength. The beast draws a ragged breath, shudders and falls still. Meanwhile a veil of magic settles over the worg and Kobold, dissipates and seems to sap the resolve of Gurtlekep, who falls into a restful slumber.

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

With a sigh Faldor walks into the room humming a small tune. As the tune finishes the lute disappears into nothing-ness. Looking at his handy work he turns to the rest of the group.
“The kobold is asleep and can be handled how ever the you all want. But let us begin looking for the mushrooms so we can save the sick townpeople.”
Perception
1d20+7 =22

The False DM |

I'll assume someone binds the kobold or makes him extend his sleep indefinitely....just let me know which.
A quick look around the chambers produces a handaxe in a hidden compartment of the stone desk that glows with a faint, bluish light(as a candle) that looks to be of superior dwarven-make. Secreted with it is a small pouch with 100pp, and a prayer book written in dwarven that outlines the worship of Droskar and has a handwritten notation on the inside cover that reads 'Torag is no longer worthy of our devotion. Only Droskar can deliver us from the failing of King Garbold' it is probably worth something to a history scholar(50gp).
In the worg's lair you find a bag tucked behind the central pillar that contains 354gp, a beautifully crafted light crossbow(masterwork), a potion, and a wand.
There is a patch of ironbloom mushrooms in the northwest corner of the room near the ruined debris of a collapsed stairway. You count seven mature ironblooms in the patch.
500xp. Welcome to level 2.

Jaden Thorm |

Jaden finds the biggest leight of chain or rope to bind the lizard , mabe makeing use of the big anvil that hors got hit by. Now was have a little pet to drag with us. Jaden is also temped to break most of his fingers off, but desides to let Keegan mess with it's head.... but not hurt him to much.
"You sleep little lizard, we will keep you alive for now"

Faldor O'Gistoresh |

Finding the crossbow Faldor compares it with his own, "I think I'll take this if none mind." Picking it up he leaves his old crossbow behind.
Not being able to carry loot I haven't really been keeping track except for the first potion the ruby and the new crossbow. Not sure how we have been splitting it all up and what the equal share is for everyone. Anyone kept track?

Effan Effluvium |

Nothing yet has caught Hozs eye and he is not in it for the money. Just the mushrooms. "7 ironblooms here, and one in the other room.... Uhmmm or was it two? Is Uhmmm... one plus seven... Is ten enough?" Want to check the anvil, but not sure H would after the gingerbread house.
1 in the other room plus these makes 8. Laurel the healer asked for 7.
Effan grins at the mathematically challenged druid. "We've enough."

Jaden Thorm |

Jaden finds a good strong spot to put our new friend, and make sure he will not get eaten, and leave him tied up for the night, as we make camp in the temple to the dwarf god. It has the best door for to bar.
Again i ask the dm, Jaden wants to use the worgs head for a new helmet. What would you want for a roll, and could any of the party help in the crafting. I know that Keegan also would make good use of the very dark skined hide.
Also, what would be the total of the loot we have go in our little trip

Just assume you spend some time working on the carcass and manage to make a Worg head helmet and gather the hide, although it will need to dry for a bit before wearing it. I haven't totaled the loot or kept a running tab. I will need to run through the adventure and tally it up if no one kept track (and I thought I added some bonus stuff into the loot but I don't remember where/what.), this may take a few days....
