I'm a bit disappointed with the low resolution of the maps in the PDF for the Rise of the Runelords Map Folio. The quality of these map images is far worse then in the original Pathfinder issue PDFs. In many maps the resolution is so low that you can't even read the labels. Is that intentional or did something go wrong here?

It's not intentional. I've fixed it.
You can download the updated version at https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/account/assets. (If the file shows that it has already been personalized, you'll need to repersonalize it before you can download the corrected version.)

The low-res map problems seem to be fixed now, although the Thistletop dungeon levels still seem to be a bit lower res than the rest. Not unusably so, though.
However, I've spotted a few issues with the Varisia map:
"The Lady's Light" is labelled as "Sorshen's Lighthouse". Nobody knows who Sorshen is until well through the AP (if at all) so this seems wrong.
"The Sunken Queen" is labelled as "The Face Pyramid". Not a biggie but inconsistent.
The map scale doesn't have any numbers on it.
Any chance of fixes for this map?

Jumms, sorry ¿How can I download it? It dosn't appear in my downloads account :-/
Your PDF will become available when the Map Folio ships out to you. Right now you have your Pathfinder Chronicles items set to ship with the next Pathfinder volume, so your Map Folio will be shipping with Pathfinder Volume 7 (which should be next week sometime).
Thanks,
cos

Found some more inconsistencies on the map of Varisia. Just southeast of Brinewall there's a spot labelled as Crystilan, except that Crystilan is on the island to the west of Brinewall.
In previous maps this spot has been labelled as the Rift of Niltak, yet now there's a label for the Rift of Niltaky a bit further east.
Also, the marked location within Lurkwood has previously been labelled as Wormwood Hall but is now labelled Niltax.
That raises a good point - is it Niltax, Niltak or Niltaky?
None of these inconsistencies will affect RotR but one of the earlier ones I listed may affect CotCT.

Hmm, I guess I shouldn't have bought my map folio at the store. Most maps are so small that I can't see a thing, and one map in particular makes no sense. And since I shelled the money at the store, I'd have to buy it again to get the scale on one map. Here is my question:
What are the scales of the Varisian map, and of the Sandpoint regional map? I don't have them before me so I can't remember the official title of this second map. It's the one printed along with the Glassworks. In this map, how big are the mountains? They look like 100' wide mountains, which makes no sense.
I'm currently running Burnt Offerings, and I can't event tell my players what is the distance between Magnimar and Sandpoint (so how long does it take to get there?).
This product is really flawed, unprofessional work, and I don't think I'll ever loose money on one of your future map folio.
