Confrontation: Age of the Rag'narok Box Set

Anyone pick this up? I've waited a long time for someone to release a pre-painted fantasy wargame, and I'd be curious to know how this stacks up vs. other systems.

I haven't picked this one up, but I've played Confrontation with their metal minis and the game is a lot of fun!

It's easy to learn, and has plenty of options that should offer something for everyone. And the variety of factions and alliances you can choose from ensures that no 2 people will field the same group of minis.

I'm not sure how the prepainted minis will be supported, but if they release sets that measure up to the quality and variety of minis available for the regular Confrontation game, this could be a sure winner!

I went ahead and ordered it, but I'm interested to see how the paint job quality matches up against what they show in the pictures.

Just wanted to add that I was fairly impressed with figures, and the paint job, especially on the Wolfen figs. Its pretty much as good of a job as I could do.

Looking forward to picking up some Fang Warriors so I can fight my friend's Griffin army. When can we expect to see more figs in the store?

As new products for the line are announced to distribution, they'll appear here.

Confrontation is a great game. The prepainted stuff isn't bad looking. I have yet to look at the new rules though. The box is a pretty good deal and seems to be a good intro to the game. I already have a devourer army though so I'm just going to pick the rules up which are an affordable $30 MSRP, I should be able to get that for like $25 though.
Rackham was smart though and continue to produce the metal minis as well under the Rackham Legends brand. You'll have to pry those metal minis out of my cold dead claws.
