I was having another look through EomE and I'm thinking that Red Fang looks pretty nasty. Has anyone out there have any experiences to share running him or battling him?
Use his Wish to Duplicate Anti-Magic Field, then go to town on somebody. My high level Paladin died horribly due to this nearly unstoppable tactic, forcing us to play hit and run. At high level, characters are very dependent on magic items and buffs, so taking away those (which Red Fang hardly needs) shoudl give him a significant advantage. This also helps you sort of prep a similiar situation against Arendagrost in the next module, though his 'field' is more static, making the son of Demogorgon a little easier. Nothing, not even a Mordenkainen's Disjunction or Wish, stops an Anti-magic Field, and Wall of Force or Prismatic Sphere are temporary delays at best...
