Actually they are saying it was possibly "drug-related" and that "pills" were found near the body. The pills were apparently prescription.

My mother was an hard drug addict in the late 60's and early 70's, however it was her later-in-life routine cocktail of prescribed psychotropics that finally killed her in 2000 at age 52. I think many prescription pills can be as easily abused as any hard drug.
I guarantee you I will never die of any manner of self administered over medication (iatrogenic overdoses are another thing entirely). That said, I've got a history of lead foot driving and you'll probably be able to zoop me up off the highway with French bread one of these days.
