But I REALLY want "Kobold Quarterly" #1.
Has anybody heard any rumors that Wolf may consider printing it out -- there's got to be a demand for it.
-W. E. Ray
Reading over Kobold 3 in pdf it seems that is moving to be on some newstands and it is in print to subscribers. I've purchased the last three as pdfs and am now seriously considering a subscription. I have to say that the mag really reminds of the older Dragon mags in their content and spirit. I can't recommend Kobold Q enough.

Your best bet at this point might be to get the pdf and then take it to your local Kinkos/etc.
This is what I was afraid of. I've thought about it a bit but I figure, hey, that will always be an option -- no reason to do it now if I can keep looking for an actual Print Copy.
I had thought Wolf made a few Print #1s shortly after the PDF came out because of demand but wasn't sure. But now, well, I haven't found any traces of one.
I really want #1.

The problem with not doing pdfs is that pdfs are a growing sector of the market and considering that the US economy looks like its heading into a recession (or even depression), cutting costs by going to PDF books may very well be a much larger sector of the market in a few years.
I hope not.
I like having the book in hand.
PDF's make dwarves sad.

As being a PDF D20 publisher, Louis Porter Jr. Design, I have to say, there are a lot of good PDF publisher out there. If you are "scared" of getting some "crappy PDF" you can always try some of the free ones, then if you like check out the "for pay" ones. It is OK, PDFs don't bit.

Not yet. I haven't felt the needto. There are enough products in print that I still need to pick up without looking for cool PDF's too. I'd be a broke dwarf.

Or out of print 1e modules (for use with C&C).
I've tried that but find that the scanned PDF's irritate me more than regular PDF's. For every OOP PDF I bought, I've always bought the actual product not long after.
Sometimes I wish I could like the PDF's more, it would save me a lot of money.

I turn my color off so it prints out in B&W only. Also, then I don't feel so bad about penning notes along the margins. Not like I have that many if it was a Basic D&D module. But they're there.
