This one is directed mainly at the Paizo staff, so if Erik or James (or anyone else) can give me some feedback then it would be greatly appreciated.

My Question is this:
What kinds of sharing rights do I have with my Pathfinder .pdfs?
I ask, because I am a Subscriber, but I am also a Player. One of my friends will be the DM. Now I have lent him the RotRL books and bought him a Player's Guide, so there is no problem there. What I do want to know however is how much leeway do I have legally to share my .pdfs with the other players? I say this because noone but me has any background info on Golarion, Varisia or indeed the whole Pathfinder setting and making up characters with backgrounds and reasons for being in Sandpoint is hard without them knowing at least a little bit about the setting. I know that they can get the Player's Guide for free (and I have already given them this) but can I also give them individual chapters from the RotRL modules? For example, any of the Guides to Varisia, Magnimar, Desna, etc... Just a couple of Chapters that detail any info that may be pertinent to the characters.

Now I do realize that alot of you will think I am stupid for asking this and should have just shut my mouth and given it to them anyway, but I truly would like to know the answer to this question.

Cheers

It depends on your jurisdiction. In the US, you'll have to trust in Fair Use if Paizo grants no exception.

Here in Switzerland, there's an limit to copyright for personal use, and personal use is described as being within your personal sphere and within a circle of people close to each other "such as relatives or friends". Thus, if you're in Switzerland, sharing the PDFs with your close friends should not be a problem.

The only explicit exception to this article are computer programs.

I am in Australia if that helps.

We don't mind you sharing portions with your gaming group, so long as said sharing is done via some direct and private method (as opposed to, say, posting the files on a public website).
